ProfessionalDevelopmentWe offer professional development during the academic year. Teachers collaborate weekly on grade level teams and during specified calendar days.
Student Improvement Team (SIT) Meetings
The Student Improvement Team meets weekly to discuss how to better meet theneeds of any student struggling with academics, behaviors, etc., as wellas those who may be advanced learners and need to be further challengedacademically.

The Parsons School District and Lincoln School are committed toproviding parents with the information they need to help their studentsbe successful. Parents may establish an account for the Infinite CampusParent Portal and be able to access attendance, schedule, andother information about all the students in their family. The InfiniteCampus data system is a powerful tool to assist parents and teachers towork together for student success.
Parent-Teacher ConferencesParent-Teacherconferences are scheduled during the first and third quarters. Pupilprogress is determined each quarter through an assessment of individualgrowth & progress and is indicated on reports to parents. Whileparents are always encouraged to confer with teachers concerning pupilprogress, a framework for conferences has been established to insuretwo-way discussion of your child's progress.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
There is one district-wide Elementary PTO that represents Lincoln, Garfield, and Guthridge Schools. The PTO sponsors three room parties a year - Halloween, Christmas and Valentine's Day. PTO fundraisers provide money for equipment and events to promote students' education.
Lincoln School site council is composed of the principal, teachers andother school personnel, parents of pupils attending the school, thebusiness community, and other community groups. It is responsible forproviding advice and counsel in evaluating school site performance goalsand objectives. The Site Council meetings are open to all parents andpatrons.

Daycare is available for children attending USD 503 schools on days when school is in session. The USD 503 Daycare is housed at Lincoln School. However, students in grades K-8th are eligible to participate and transportation is provided to and from all schools.
