2nd grade students got to take a field trip to the Exploration Place in Witchita. Some of them got called on to help at the Live Science Show.

The other three groups, in Mrs. Strode's class completed mission two of story problems and moved onto mission three of creating graphs.




We had so much fun at The Exploration Place in Wichita. We learned science, we learned about Great White Sharks, and we had fun while doing all of it.

Mr. Medina's class had a blast at The Exploration Place in Wichita. We learned about sharks and had so much fun with hands on science!

At Garfield, students enjoy extra reading with their most favorite people. Hunter loves reading with Mrs. Trout


Some of Ms. Moon's boys ate lunch with the counselor today. We enjoyed conversation and a video while we ate our lunches together. So many laughs and smiles were shared


Save the Date


Second grade has been working hard on their state assessments. Ms. Perez's and Ms. Moon's class ended the week with popsicles in the park to reward their amazing effort!



Students in second grade have been learning test taking skills and they took the reading state assessment this week. Mr. Medina made pancakes for his students to celebrate their hard work!







Our Arbor Day was a great success and we had a great time.
