These first graders have mastered all of their first grade sight words! They have been working so hard. 💙💛


First graders made an "Apple Trapper" today. They had to create something that could successfully pick up apples.






First graders had fun practicing subtraction facts with their friends. We are getting faster every single day!!






Students in Mrs. Manley's class got to observe a praying mantis that a classmate found. First grade is always so much fun!




We Are Hiring: Title 1 Aide at Lincoln Elementary School!


An area of Mrs. Pontious' preschool classroom was under construction Tuesday afternoon. as one student donned a hard hat , grabbed a hammer and went to work pounding tees.

Students in Mrs. Hutley's first grade class practiced writing full sentences on their own, by sounding out the words, and created art to show what their sentences were about.

Learning to write one's name in kindergarten can be hard, but learning to do it with good penmanship takes lots of practice, which is what Mrs. Kennett's kindergarten students did Tuesday during rotations.

Students in Mrs. Hutley's first grade class practiced sounding out three-letter, word segments. For each correct pronunciation, the students advanced their car on their race track.
