February is DENTAL HEALTH MONTH. First grade learned all about teeth from many books and a lesson from our school nurse Ms. Kat. Students loved practicing brushing and flossing giant teeth.

With careful inspection Mrs. Hicks's class found that Abe Lincoln's statue is on the tail side of some older pennies. Students flipped a penny and graphed heads and tails for President's Day.
