These two met the challenge of getting 40 AR points before Christmas break and earned Happy Meals. We are so close to having all of our class meat this challenge. I foresee some great books being read this week.

Mrs. Lubbers graciously brought the supplies to make fragrant pomanders with our class today. It was so much fun!!

Mrs. Keal's class earned a class party for having 30 positive reports from their special teachers. Kiddos rotated around to different stations and had a great time working cooperatively together.
Ms. Ryan challenged her students to be on their best behavior during counseling class this month. If Ms. Ryan noticed students doing what they should without being reminded they added their name to the incentive chart. Prizes were given to seven randomly selected students.
Ms. Ryan always looks forward to lunch dates with her students. Today she had lunch with boys from Mrs. Strode and Mrs. Waun's class.
The other two winners of the November Kindness Challenge had their special lunch with Ms. Ryan. They had the option of a happy meal or a gift. One picked a happy meal while the other picked a gift.
Congratulations to this little Viking! He hit his goal of 25 AR points so he received his happy meal from Mr. Medina!
Brogan has once again crushed another goal!! Ms. Vaughn challenged him to complete all of his ELA Study Island topics by Christmas and he completed them a week early. He has now finished all second grade Math and ELA Study Island topics. 🏝️

Students got to pet a snake at Greenbush before heading back to the school! So much fun!

We had a great time at Greenbush. Students learned about rocks and then they had to work as a team to build a shelter with only three materials to withstand an earthquake simulator.

Greenbush was a great experience for our second graders today. They learned so much about the earth and how the earth is changed.
