Due to circumstances related to COVID with participating schools, the wrestling tournament in Erie this weekend has been cancelled.
We were just notified that Mulvane is unable to bring their entire team tonight. The new schedule is JV Boys at 6:00 and Varsity immediately after. We anticipate only playing one half of the JV game so Varsity will start much earlier than the usual 7:45 time.

KSHSAA voted yesterday to allow "up to two" tickets per parent/guardian for all participants. Since we are only playing the boys game, we will allow two per participant for Thursday. Our local board of education will be discussing this next Monday night and they may go with zero, one, or two.
We are currently working with all the participants to develop that list for Thursday night's boys games vs. Mulvane.
The picture attached will show you the plan for parent/participant seating for Thursday. This will be our first trial run at this new way of allowing parents into games.
Some reminders:
1. Only those on the pass gate will be allowed entry
2. Masks will be REQUIRED for all parents/guardians, workers, coaches, and bench personnel.
3. Social distancing is strongly encouraged. We allowed enough space in each section to do so. Parents/guardians should sit with who you live with, but not with other families.
4. We ask that you come to watch the event that your student is involved with and then leave. All of the games are live streamed so you can go home and watch online. This opportunity is for you to watch your son/daughter play or perform. Help us out by keeping the numbers at each game lower and making social distancing easier.
Another girls basketball update:
Next Tuesday's GIRLS game @ LCHS has been postponed until Thursday, Jan. 14th. JV Girls at 4:30, Varsity at 6:00.
The boys game will still take place on Tuesday, Dec. 8th at Altamont.

Update on girls basketball:
We are unable to play this Thursday vs. Mulvane and Saturday @ Wichita-Collegiate.
The Mulvane game has been rescheduled for Dec. 19 with JV girls at 1:00 and varsity to follow.

Tonight's girls contests with Circle High School have been cancelled. Their games Thursday and Saturday have not been cancelled at this point in time. We will post as we know more. The boys contests tonight are still being played.
