
Preschoolers enjoyed an afternoon at Curious Minds Discovery Zone in Mrs. Peak's class. Lots of fun!!!











Kindergarten had a fun filled day learning about space, aircrafts, and different animals. We were excited to visit monkey island at the Ralph Mitchell zoo in Independence. Miss Abel lived there and was the first monkey to visit space 75 years ago!

Ms. Finley's PM class played with her giant rubber band. They had to listen to directions and work together to stretch and hide!






Ms. Finley's AM and PM classes have been talking about how to take care of our earth. We reuse containers in our water table and maker space to reduce the amount of trash. And then we made coffee filter earths.




Mrs. Peak's preschoolers enjoyed their field trip visit to Curious Minds Museum today.











Mrs. Anderson's class has been learning about the life cycle of a butterfly. Today we released four of our butterflies!







Preschool reviewed the basic shapes and talked about how many sides they have, and how many kids to make them.

Ms. Finley's AM class talked about animals and living things in the desert. Then they each made a cactus.

Khyla earned a special lunch for reaching 75 AR points! Way to go!!


Ms. Finley's AM class felt what it might be like to be a polar bear in icy water. They put their hands in a Crisco lined bag to see how blubber keeps the bears warm, and a regular baggie to show the difference.








Ms. Finley's PM class experienced the icy waters where the polar bear lives. They placed their hand in a blubber bag made of crisco and a regular bag to feel the difference.




Thank you Mr. Peak for bringing Vector the Viking to Mrs. Anderson's classroom. What a cool experience!!!






The students in Mrs. Peak's afternoon preschool class couldn't wait until Vector the Viking came in for a visit. They enjoyed having Mr. Peak bring in Vector.
