Happy Thanksgiving!

Lincoln first grade students carried on the tradition of reading the book "Balloons Over Broadway" and then making their own decorated balloons and parading them down the halls and through the kindergarten and preschool classrooms. The book tells the origin of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Lincoln students got to practice their painting skills Tuesday, as they each applied a brush and paint to their own turkey. Gobble. Gobble. Finished just in time for Thanksgiving break.

Preschool children in Jennifer Anderson's class tested their finer motor skills by coloring and cutting out the letters M and Y and coloring and cutting out pictures pertaining to the letter Q. They also had fun identifying letters from the instructions they recognized.
Each month all kindergarten students have the opportunity to earn a free pizza just by reading at home! These kindergarten students met their reading goal for the month of October. Not only did they earn a free pizza, they also earned a book from the book machine! 📕
