Garfield first grade students wave flags, words of thanks and pictures of veterans during Friday's Veterans Parade. The students have pen pals they meet with at Presbyterian Manor twice a month, and the pictures are of some of those elders who are veterans they know personally..

Lincoln students showed their thanks to veterans Friday, by lining the streets downtown, waving flags, and shouting "Thank you," as veterans passed by in the parade.

The Veteran's Day Parade was a great experience for our first graders.

Why don't trees fall down in the wind? Mystery Science had us guessing today. We created our own umbrellas (trees) hoping they would withstand the wind.

Thank you for your service.
