After reading "When Grandma Gives You A Lemon Tree" by Jamie L.B. Dennahan, students in Mrs. Kitterman's first grade class worked together to make freshly-squeezed lemonade as a tasty afternoon treat. The story teaches children about the value of gifts they may not see at first.
