L-E-T-S-G-O! Let's Go, Let's Go! L-E-T-S-G-O! GO VIKES!

Parsons High School Homecoming will be a week full of memorable events. Let's build school spirit, foster a sense of community, and welcome back alumni to reconnect for this time old tradition.

We invite the community to join us for Queen Coronation on Friday, September 26th at 6:30 p.m. prior to the Varsity Football Game at Marvel Park Stadium, and then stick around to cheer on your Viking football team!

Students, see this post's flyer for the daily activities. The Homecoming Dance will follow the football game from approximately 9:30-11:30 p.m. in the PHS Cafeteria. Cost is $3 for an individual or $5 per couple.

Ms. Vincent empowered Intro to Drawing and Design students to master color theory principles, harnessing the power of primary, secondary, and tertiary colors to create vibrant visual color wheels using just three colors. Students took their knowledge to the next level by expanding their color wheels to create neutral colors and monochromatic schemes, leveraging complementary colors to craft nuanced shades. As a bonus, their edible color wheels made for a delicious reward.

Vikings Farms students helped horticulture teacher Jim Gilpin measure off a general outline of where the foundation will be built for a new greenhouse at PHS. Gilpin said rather than constructing the prior planned hoop house, they will build a solid-walled greenhouse requiring a solid foundation, with drainage. Gilpin said the change will require some additional grant funds, but will serve the students well into the future. Chris Schultz was on hand to discuss utilities location and the foundation design and construction.
