Ms. Finley's AM class felt what it might be like to be a polar bear in icy water. They put their hands in a Crisco lined bag to see how blubber keeps the bears warm, and a regular baggie to show the difference.
Ms. Finley's PM class experienced the icy waters where the polar bear lives. They placed their hand in a blubber bag made of crisco and a regular bag to feel the difference.

The students in Mrs. Peak's afternoon preschool class couldn't wait until Vector the Viking came in for a visit. They enjoyed having Mr. Peak bring in Vector.

This free event is for kids birth to 5 years old. There will be community organizations for parents to learn what opportunities are out there for them to utilize while the kids play and learn.
