Mrs. Peak had students earning the golden coin this week to receive a free book.
Mrs. Peak's students completed a turkey homework project. They had to disguise their turkey so it would be safe for Thanksgiving.

Garfield first grade students wave flags, words of thanks and pictures of veterans during Friday's Veterans Parade. The students have pen pals they meet with at Presbyterian Manor twice a month, and the pictures are of some of those elders who are veterans they know personally..
Lincoln students showed their thanks to veterans Friday, by lining the streets downtown, waving flags, and shouting "Thank you," as veterans passed by in the parade.
